What is print-on-demand?
Print-on-demand is a fulfillment method where products are printed and shipped only after an order is placed. This allows us to offer a wide range of high-quality photographic prints and wall art without holding inventory.
Who is Gelato?
Gelato is a global print-on-demand company that partners with local printers in over 30 countries. They handle the printing, packaging, and shipping of your order, helping reduce delivery times and carbon emissions by producing your artwork closer to you.
Where are the products printed and shipped from?
Gelato uses a network of local printers in many countries including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and across Europe and Asia. Your order is automatically routed to the nearest available fulfillment center to ensure faster and more sustainable delivery.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Production typically takes 2–5 business days. Shipping time varies by location:
- Domestic (within major regions): 3–7 business days
- International: 7–14 business days
You’ll receive tracking information once your order ships.
Why am I receiving multiple shipments with the same order?
As Gelato works with a variety of local printers, each may be more capable in handling a specific product. An order of multiple products might be distributed to various print shops, thus shipped from different locations. You will receive a tracking number for each shipment, and you won't be subjected to multiple shipping costs.
Will the print quality match what I see on screen?
We use high-resolution images and professional color profiles for all our artwork. However, slight variations in color may occur due to monitor settings and printing methods. Gelato uses top-quality printers and materials to ensure the best possible match.
What happens if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. Send a photo and brief description of the issue to kylinzphotography@gmail.com and we’ll work with Gelato to offer a replacement or refund.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Since each piece is made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. If there is a problem with the quality or your order arrives incorrect, we will gladly replace it. See our Return and Refund for full details.
Is the packaging eco-friendly?
Gelato takes sustainability seriously and uses eco-conscious materials wherever possible. Additionally, by printing locally and reducing international shipping distances, they help lower the overall carbon footprint.
